Simple and Soft Sakura Card

It's been long since my last post, a lot of end of the year activities have kept me away from my crafting, but I'm back!
As you all know by now, I'm a big cherry blossoms lover and I'm going through a floral phase right now, so I created this very simple card as a thank you note. You might add a dab of glue to the back of the front panel so it does not shift or flaps around.

Lacy Heart, Triple Layer Square Card

I guess you could say I'm going through a floral phase right now.
I saw a similar design (flowers inside a heart) on a printed fabric of a Japanese gown and I thought it would make a beautiful card to give with a flower bouquet.

Butterfly Card #3 (and last) - Swallowtail

This is the third and last of the butterflies cards.
It took me a while to upload it because of the 8.3 earthquake that stroke Chile a couple of days ago and me traveling out of the country.

Sakura KIT KAT inspired Thank You/Gracias Card

Using the same overlay pattern I used on the last post, I turned the generic card into a thank you card, using a suggestion from Jennifer from a Facebook Cricut Group.
Disclaimer: the clear Wink of Stella glitter does not show very good in this next picture, but scroll down and you'll see how it really looks.

Circular Zipper Card - You Gotta Love a Tear Away.

Hello Everyone!
A friend of mine asked me to make a card to tell her parents they were having a baby.
I really love how this one turned  out, if you do too, please leave a comment and subscribe.
A DISCLAIMER: This is a mockup of the actual card, I made this one to try the tearing of the circle, check color combinations, and practise the coloring, that's why the stamping is a little sloppy... oops!

Moroccan Tile Hello Cards

I've been away because of some health issues that hopefully will be resolved within the next few weeks. Because of that, I've had a lot of time to watch tv, specially travel documentaries about middle East and Asia. Moroccan Architecture and art is overwhelmingly amazing, and that's what inspired this card. All the work is put on the die cutting and no inking, drawing, popping up or extra embellishing was involved, This SVG has everything you need.

How to Print, then Print, then Cut - Getting the Best Resolution From Your Printer

Hi everyone!

If you are a Cricut user, you may have come across Design Space's (DS) Print then Cut (PTC) feature not using your printer's full resolution. According to Kay from Clever Someday it is due to the software need to lower the resolution of your uploaded images to work better on a browser based environment (or something like that). Designing images is a big thing for me and I like my lines to be as sharp as they possibly can, so I came up with a digital method to get the best printer resolution your machine is capable of delivering.

To see what I mean, here are two images:

Tri fold Mom's Birthday Card

Hello!
It's been so long since my last post that I almost forgot how to do this.

I traveled to Japan and got back with a whole bunch of ideas and inspiration for crafting. I also had to process all 5000 photos to make my vacation photo album and I also had to finish writing my travel journal in full color. Soon you'll fin out what I'm working on.

This card has nothing to do with it, though. I made this card last January for my mother.

I  don't have the pictures for this card, but the files are in english and spanish for you to choose.

Wanna Flower? - Coloring Drawing in SVG format

I purchased a couple of stamps a few days ago and looked for the matching dies which they don't have, so I asked the company if it was ok for me to make a cutting file for them and they said "NO".
I have to say thanks though, cause that inspired me to practice my drawing skills and come up with a line of drawings to write on the explore and color using my newly gifted COPIC markers; of course with an offset path to cut around the drawn shape.

Thanks to Mark Crilley's Youtube tutorials I learned a lot on Manga drawings and specially on the Chibi style (cutesy, big head, huge eyes characters).

So here she is, the first of all, Wanna flower? girl, perfect for Valentine's Day.

Asahi (Rising Sun) Birthday Card - English and Spanish.

So, yesterday I went to a friend's birthday party. He practices Aikido and he is a black belt Aikidoka . The first thing that popped into my head was an Aikidogi (Aikido uniform), [I'm googling all these names, there's no way I'd know all this]. At a point the whole clothing thing was discarded and I ended up with a japanese rising sun design. So, here it is.
