Circular Zipper Card - You Gotta Love a Tear Away.

Hello Everyone!
A friend of mine asked me to make a card to tell her parents they were having a baby.
I really love how this one turned  out, if you do too, please leave a comment and subscribe.
A DISCLAIMER: This is a mockup of the actual card, I made this one to try the tearing of the circle, check color combinations, and practise the coloring, that's why the stamping is a little sloppy... oops!

The tear away, front panel paper is Bright White from Neenah Textures collection. and the teal and brown paper are from the Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells 6x6 paper pad. The diecut Baby was popped up with pieces of 3M foam tape.

The stamp sets used in the front panel are from OAK Tree stamps: sentiment is from Baby Bumps Set and the question marks from the Chibi boy Expressions Set. Also I used the Penny Black Embellishments, a great set for zipper cards. Versafine Onyx Black and VersaMagic Sea Breeze ink was used for the stamping

The image inside is from the same Baby Bumps Stamp set from OAK Tree Stamps and was stamped with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored with Copic Markers on an Express Blending Card, great for stamping and coloring with copics.

The tear away comes off beautifully and without effort as long as you glue the front panel -except for the piece that tears-  to the backing with a strong adhesive. I like to use a spray adhesive to make sure all the cutouts are glued evenly, but make sure to cover the tearing piece so it does not stick to the backing.

People from OAK kindly gave me another 50% discount coupons, but hurry , there's only 5 of them and you can use them in the entire stamp collection! Last time these babies went fast. If you get all 5 sets you only pay $32.25 plus shipping. Oh my! only $7.25 each. Use discount code AWESOME at checkout.
