Day 5 - Snowflakes Gift Tag, 2014 Christmas Series

This one falls into the cutout collection.

I used 2 colors, a light blue and white. This tag is only 2 inches wide and the cuts are so precise, I love the way the Explore cuts.

For the background I used a Hero Arts Snow Dots rubber stamp with Versamark Ink and clear WOW! embossing powder (check the deal, it comes in 160 ml jars). I then inked the edges using a resist technique with a Mini Ink blending tool and Distress Ink (Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers and Shaded Lilac).

The edges of the front panel were inked with a Tsukineko dauber and Salty Ocean Distress Ink.

Because of the intricate design I used Aleene's Adhesive Spray to glue the front panel. I found it works great with the embossed surface below.

Instructions

1. Import in DS
2. Resize to 2 inches wide
3. Cut
4. Assemble
5. Enjoy!
