For this first tag I inked the whole background using a mini ink blending tool and some Dried Marigold and Mustard Seed Distress Ink.
The faux stitches were drawn with a signo gold pen using my pen fitting technique.
The center star was heat embossed using Versamark Ink and WOW! Rich Gold embossing powder. This actually looks like melted gold!
I assembled the tag using Aleene's Tacky glue.
Very simple and elegant.
The second tag, part of the cutout collection is very fast to make. Just a slight inking of the edges with Mustard Seed Distress Ink on a dauber for the front panel and I heat embossed a stamped image on the background using the very Christmasy Justrite Snowfall stamp with Versamark Ink and Judikins Egyptian Gold Embossing Powder. I love the way this embossing powder looks on this tag, it is very different than WOW!s gold powder because it has a lot of glitter built in, it is a lot more sparkly.
The front panel was glued using Aleene's Tacky Glue pen. I prefer to use this glue because it is very flexible once dry.
