Be Free Balloon Card

I love how this card came out. I was watching a video from Jennifer McGuire, and she made this layered balloon card and I decided to make one with a little more color. I love the way the outline of the string goes off the border of the card.

I used colored cardstock, and decided to give the balloons a little shine with an acetate layer on top. 

The hardest part was to tie the thread to the 7/8 in balloons. I used regular DMC dark colored thread so it wouldn't get lost on the background.

I also added some accents using a white gel pen before tying the acetate.

For the big balloon, I decided to draw the string and the contour with the explore. And then was popped with mounting foam to give it dimension. (I just realize I give dimension to everything, LOL)

The clouds were embossed using the Swirls We R Memory Keepers.

To tie the balloon, you can use the ATG gun to put a strip to double sided tape and secure the strings to the back of the brown bar, then twist the bar and tie the strings.

Instructions:

1. Import in DS

2. Resize to 8,8 inches wide

3. Ungroup

4. Set the lines to write
5. Attach the big balloon string to the white contour so it writes inside it.
6. Attach the string bow to the red balloon so it writes inside the baloon. 

7. Cut
8. Enjoy!
