Anyways, here's the third card of the Halloween Treat Box series.
Like the other ones, this box can be made from a letter size (8.5x11 inches) gray cardstock, and some gray, black, white and yellow scraps.
Inking is up to you, I think it gives it a lot more texture. For this one I used Pumice Stone Distress ink on a dauber for the edges of the bat, and on a watercolor brush Spun Sugar for the ears and the inner part of the wings, and some ripe persimmon for the cheeks
I popped Will Pope with some 3M Mounting Foam double sided Tape and glued the words with my favourite glue pen - Aleene's Tacky glue Pen.
For the eyes and teeth, although I made the cuts, I found it so much easier to draw them with a white gel pen, but that's up to you, You'll still get them on the file in case you want to make it bigger.
I used gold metallic cardstock for the moon cutouts on the sides.
I also did my favourite technique on the words, the "Faux Highlights Technique", drawing a white line where the light is supposed to be shining on the letters. It gives it dimension.
And as if that weren't enough bling, I glued sequins for the eyes of the top bat using Vivacolor Red pen.
Hope you like it.
