Turkey Napkin Ring, 2014 Tableware Thanksgiving Series

The first of a series of napkin rings, a bunch more to choose from coming soon. Don't miss them, subscribe!

As on my previous post, I inked the turkey body, wings and back tail feathers using Vintage Photo Distress Ink on a Tsukineko Dauber, and added highlights with a white gel pen.

For the band I used a couple images from the Hot Off the Press Feathers Stamp Set with Toffee Crunch Memento ink.

The whole thing was put together using Aleene's Tacky Glue Pen (a strong and flexible adhesive)

For the back closure leave I cut it using orange cardstock and painted it with Antique Bronze Metallic Distress Paint. This turned out so great, it really looks like an old piece of metal.

Instructions:
  1. Import in DS
  2. Resize to 8 inches wide
  3. Ungroup
  4. Change function to write for the eyes Highlights and attach to eyes base
  5. Cut
  6. Enjoy!
