Acorn Napkin Ring, 2014 Tableware Autumn and Thanksgiving Series

This one is for you Narelle. Since Thanksgiving is not celebrated everywhere, here's an autumn themed napkin ring, that also fits in the Thanksgiving collection.

I kept the Stamped image on the ring base using the Meadow stamp set form Inkadinkado with Tsukineko's VersaMagic, which giver a watermark feel to the  tan cardstock.

The closures are an orange cardstock colored with Tarnished Brass Distress Paint on a Mini Blending Tool. without covering the cardstock completely so the underlying color showed through.

For the acorn I inked the edges of the tan cardstock with Brushed Corduroy Distress ink on a dauber and put it together using Aleene's Tacky Glue Pen. Finally I attached it to the ring base using Mounting foam to give it dimension.

Once assembled I covered the top part using Mod Podge to give it a glossy finish.

Instructions:

1. Import in DS
2. Resize to 8 inches wide
3. Cut
4. Assemble
5. Enjoy!
