Autumn Love Tree Napkin Ring, 2014 Thanksgiving/Autumn Series

Must be the heat wave that hit us here in Chile this week, because suddenly I felt like making a hearts only series. I came to my senses though and decided to continue with the Thanksgiving/Autumn Series.

For this one I also used Tsukineko's VersaMark Ink on a Market Spice Stamp form Hero Arts. Although it doesn't cover the whole ring base, once closed the un-stamped borders remain hidden.

For the closures I put Tarnished Brass Distress Paint on a Mini Blending Tool and tapped here and there on the green base cardstock.

I relied on the detailed cuts that the Explore is able to deliver for the curly branches and put them in place using Aleene's Tacky Glue Pen.

For the Tree I inked the edges of the cardstock with Brushed Corduroy Distress ink on a dauber, put it together and covered  the orange center circle with Mod Podge to give it a glossy finish (I can't seem to get enough of this domed acrylic look that mod podge gives)

Instructions:
  1. Import in DS
  2. Resize to 8 inches wide
  3. Cut
  4. Assemble
  5. Enjoy!
