Braided Cards Series - Maple

Hello!
On the northern hemisphere is summer, but here winter is starting and leaves began to fall late this year. This card was inspired by the crackling fallen leaves that pave my way to work everyday.
I hope you like them
Like I've been doing with all the braided cards, I used Neenah Creative Collection Metallic Cardstock. It is a 2 sided metallic finish cardstock that shimmers beautifully without being too shiny.
I used the toothpick folding technique to achieve a nice rounded fold that gives the card a three dimensional look.
Pin this!

If you are planning on mailing the card, it is probably better to flatten the folds or use a padded envelope to make sure they don't get squashed.
For the shaped card I went loud with the embellishment and decided to use a huge gemstone in the center. I love that it looks like a sunflower almost
The square card on the other side, has cute corner cutouts that give the appearance of fallen leaves form the front and a flowery look on the inside.
The cards have plenty of writing space inside and they make great thank cards also.
Don't forget to watch the video tutorial to achieve the perfect curved fold and tips on how to put the card together.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs.
