This two color vinyl design is so easy to cut and layer, you’ll have it ready in no time.
This project was done using Cricut’s light pink vinyl, black glitter vinyl and a tiny piece of matte black for the lashes because the glitter chunks are way too big to achieve that level of detail and I thought it could end up looking like clumpy mascara, lol! The vinyl colors I used are listed at the end of the blog post.
The final design was sized 10” height to fit the back of this size 36 (months) jacket.
Once cut, lay your skin color first and use the body silhouette to align the dress, hat, purse and shoes. I conveniently arranged those pieces in the file so you can save vinyl without having to distribute them on your mats in Design Space.
I also included the shape of the mouth but I didn’t think the colors I have, worked with the image, but if you have slightly darker shade of pink, I think it could work.
At first I thought black glitter on dark blue jeans fabric wasn’t very noticeable, but under the right light sparkles beautifully and it looks very rich and expensive.
I’ll be going to the States next week and will give this jacket to my little niece, can’t wait to hug her!! I will be bringing back some craft supplies to Chile, so if there’s something you would want me to try or create a project with please let me know in the comments below. Also, if you want me to upload a video showing how to layer vinyl, don’t hesitate to leave a comment.
