Glitzy In summer!!

Living in the bottom half of the planet does not give you an idea of what a white christmas is. It's hard to think about snow when it is  40°C outside.

For this card I got my Snowman name here http://mix108.com/snowman-names/

It is a square card and as always I used colored cardstock stamped and embossed.

I used a  We R Memory Keepers Trim embossing folder on my Cuttlebug and for the sand I used a beautiful Justrite Snowfall Stamp with Versamark ink on beige cardstock.

The SVG file comes with the snowman sketch and the doodled sentiment in ENGLISH AND SPANISH to be drawn on your explore.

For the snowman I used an American Crafts 0.1 pen which fits perfectly on the Explore and delivers very thin lines. My only concern about this pen is with the bleeding of the ink when you use a watercolor technique. For the coloring I used Distress Inks, Iced Spruce, Tumbled Glass, Barn Door, Dried Marigold, Wild Honey, Crushed Olive, Forest Moss, Walnut Stain and Gathered Twigs.

The sentiment was drawn using a Signo Ball pen on a Pilot Choose Pen case (I'll be posting a tutorial on how to do this soon)

Finally I popped some panels with 3M mounting tape.

Instructions:

  1. Import in DS
  2. Resize to 8.5 inches wide
  3. Ungroup
  4. Change function to write for doodled sentiment and attach to scalloped red tag
  5. Change function to write for doodled snowman and attach to snowman's base
  6. Cut
  7. Enjoy!
