Baby Mariana Baptism Favors

My niece visited Chile a couple of months ago and her parents honored me with being one of the Godfathers.
I was in charge of the baptism favours, and after much thinking, we (my mom and I) came up with a color (Rose Quartz) and a theme (butterflies).
I also made origami boxes to store them.

I kept the design very simple, only because I had to make 100 of them.

The elements are:
  • A printed back panel,
  • An embossed front panel with a decorative border,
  • A Ribbon (I used satin but the file comes with an SVG version of a 3/8 ribbon to cut)
  • Two butterflies (one big with cutouts and the matted path to cut in vellum, and a small one).
  • A Bracket Label and the name of my niece cut in white paper. The font used for the name is Xiomara a free font from Dafont (click here to get it)
For the embossing of the front panel. I used 4 different folders: Sizzix Dots and Flowers, Crucut Tile Set and Sizzix Butterflies and Flowers.
The big butterfly has a Vellum underlying layer and the small butterfly has a small adhesive rhinestone in the center. I used Spray Adhesive on the back of the big butterfly top layer to glue the vellum because of the thin lines of the cutout. To glue the butterflies in place, I used small Zots Clear Adhesive Dots.
Here's a detailes view of the of the bracket label stamped using a n Inkadinkado Modern Flower Flourish Stamp Set with Versamark Ink to create a subtle watermark on the cardstock, before adhering the name cutout also using spray adhesive.

Now for the origami Box.  This is a glueless box, embellished with some of the same elements of the favour tags. This will be a tutorial for a another post, for now, Enjoy!
