Happy New Year, Ultraviolet Shadow Box Card

Hello Everyone!!!
2018 is around the corner, celebrate it with the color of the year and this 3D shadow box card!

Happy Holidays to all of you loyal fans!
Every year I get very excited when Pantone announces the color of the year. For 2018 it will be Ultraviolet! (great color, bad movie... not really, I really loved that movie it is so cliché)
Since Shadow boxes have been a thing this year for me, I decided to make a shadow box card with lots of layers, complex designs and a lot of pizzazz.

Watch the tutorial, give it a thumbs up if you like it and don't forget to subscribe
Like every other box card, it folds flat so you can mail it on an envelope specially designed and included in the file. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.5 inches when opened and 5x5.5 inches when flat, so you'll need that bigger envelope to mail it.

The background has a lot of detail and lets the light pass through giving it an even cooler look!. You could put vellum on the back if you want a more subtle lighting effect.

Don't forget to watch the assembling tutorial and please subscribe to the YouTube channel so you don't miss any new video tutorials.
Enjoy and have an awesome end of the year!

  1. I don't have an iPad, I use an android tablet. I am having trouble loading svg files to my Cricut Maker. Any ideas? Thanks!

  2. I would suggest downloading the files to Dropbox or google drive and then going to a desktop computer and upload them to design space. Once they are on your library, you can design from anywhere.
All the files you guys download are in google drive, it is free, reliable and accessible having internet connection.
    Good luck.
