A Century of Lanterns - Lighting a Birthday Table.

I made these lanterns for my dad's 70th birthday. They were such a hit among his friends, they took them home as party favors.
The file for these lanterns has been on my computer for a while now, but I hadn't had the time to tweak it for all decades, up to the 100th birthday.
Before assembling, cut 2.1" x 2.1" squares of vellum for the windows and tape them in place. I like to use a special vellum tape that will not warp the panel like liquid glue could.. I figured cutting the squares using a trimmer was way faster than doing it with the Cricut, since they were plain squares.

The box does not need glue to be assembled, because it is based on tabs/slots mechanisms.
Embellish the top with some ribbon (our theme was green) and insert a LED T-light candle inside and you are ready to go. These lights will last for the whole party (3-4 hours) and a little more.
The zip file comes with all decades from 10 to a 100. Make sure to change the top layer to score and attach to the second layer, because, yes... The scoring lines are included.
Enjoy!
