Ink Blending Tool Storage

If you are an Organizing Freak like me, then you are going to like this.

I don't usually say this, but please note that this file is for personal use only - I appreciate your comprehension

I enjoy organizing almost as much as I do crafting and since I don't have a dedicated crafting room, I need to keep things tidy. I came up with this Ink Blending Tool made of chipboard for my unused foams and my Regular an Mini Ranger Ink Blending Tools.
There's enough space for 8 Mini Tools and 6 Regular rectangular ones.
I don't know if it was my blade or the chipboard quality, but I had a hard time cutting the chipboard with my Cricut, but I still used it to draw the pieces and cut them out with an exacto knife.
I used 1.5mm thick Chipboard that I buy in 24"x 36" sheets and cut them to 12x24 pieces to use with a large Cricut Mat. For this project though I'm giving you 3 12x12 mats, so there's no need to buy another mat.

I like to use a Pilot Precise V5 pen that fits perfectly on the pen hoder, but you can also use the Chomas Pen Adapter to use any marker you want. I like the V5 pen because it is a ball point pen that draws smoothly on the chipboard surface.
For the assembly, please note that side pieces overlap to allow proper gluing, so make sure to test your assembly first.
To ensure the correct positioning of the pieces, I use 90° angle Clamps, that way I don't have to hold the pieces until the glue is dry.
My favorite glue for this is Aleene's Quick Dry Tacky Glue
For the Tool handle holder I used a We R Memory Keepers Thumb Notch Punch.

The punch worked great for this project, but I wouldn't advise using it a lot. Mine broke 10 days later and I think it was because of excessive pressure on the metal base. I tried using metal dies but the chipboard is too thick. I guess if you have a steady hand this will be no issue to you.
Dividers and handle holders' placement is marked on the base as dashed lines. (These lines will cut if you upload the file to design space and try to cut with your machine)
Make sure to put enough glue on all the contacting edges and apply enough pressure so they adhere correctly.
There are two versions of the file, one is for a PDF version in case you don't have a cutting machine, and also an SVG version for those fortunate ones.
