Thanksgiving Spiral Phrase Coasters, 2014 Thanksgiving Series

After the last break, here's another addition to the thanksgiving series. Coasters!! 

Monica Geller would be so proud of me.

The center circle shape of the coasters are made with Kraft cardstock and my favourite white gel pen (Pilot choose). I included two phrases:

• Give thanks
• Happy Thanksgiving

All the words are written on the Explore using this previous post tutorial.

For the base of the coaster I used Neenah 80 lb Cardstock (Creative collection Texture Cardstock) For some reason, amazon does not carry it but you can find it at Office Depot here. The file includes the little circles that were written with a gold Signo gel pen on the explore.

It doesn't take long to put them together, but make them ahead of time, cause it takes a lot for the explore to write each one (about 4 minutes).

I would recommend to use a spray acrylic sealer to protect the writing from moisture.

Instructions

1. Import in DS
2. Resize to 3.8 inches wide
3. Ungroup
4. Change function for the spiral and the embellishments on the base to write. 
5. Attach written layer to top light brown circle. 
6. Attach embellishment layer to dark brown base. 
7. Cut
