Ghostly Treat Box, Halloween 2014 Series

Give away candy the crafty way with this spooky treat box

This is a very simple box, You just need an 8.5 x 11 in. black cardstock and a scrap piece of white cardstock (4x4 inches). The folding lines have little cuts so it folds easily without the need of a scoring stylus .

I used a Pilot V5 pen to make the sharp lines with  my Cricut Explore and inked the ghost using Stormy Sky Distress ink on a Fine Nib Ranger Watercolor Brush.

I cannot stay away from bling, so I used rhinestones on the Os.

For the cutouts on the sides I used a shiny paper glued on the inside to hide the box's content

You should glue all the panels and embellishments to the box before folding and glueing the tabs on the box.

The upper part has a ghost also, so it looks spooky from every angle

Instructions:
  1. Import in DS
  2. Resize to 11 inches wide
  3. Ungroup.
  4. Change function on the ghost layer to write.
  5. Attach ghost layer to ghost base.
  6. Cut
  7. Enjoy

And don't forget: Share the link to my blog, not the file and give credits to the hard work if you post on other sites.
